Netherlands and France draw in Euro 2024 group stage match
France and the Netherlands played out a goalless draw in their Euro 2024 group stage match on Tuesday.
It was the first goalless game of the tournament, and leaves both teams with work to do to secure a place in the knockout stages.
The Netherlands had the better of the chances in the first half, with Memphis Depay twice going close. However, France improved after the break and had a number of chances of their own, with Kylian Mbappe and Antoine Griezmann both coming close to scoring.
In the end, both teams had to settle for a point, which leaves them both level on four points with one game remaining in the group stage. The Netherlands will face England in their final game, while France will play Germany.
