Dallas Mavericks defeat Oklahoma City Thunder

The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-98 on Wednesday night at the Paycom Center. Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavericks with 31 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists, while Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Josh Giddey is also great that night with his double double stats, 17 points and 13 assists. The Mavericks improve to 46-32 on the season, while the Thunder fall to 23-56.
The Mavericks led by just 5 points at halftime, but they pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the Thunder 32-18. Doncic was dominant in the third quarter, scoring 13 points and dishing out 5 assists. The Thunder made a run in the fourth quarter, but the Mavericks held on for the victory.
The Mavericks will be back in action on Friday night when they host the Los Angeles Lakers. The Thunder will be back in action on Saturday night when they host the Memphis Grizzlies.
